A pallet truck with adjustable fork spacing

Hydraulic handling vehicles can also be called pallet handling vehicles because there is a certain distance between their two forks. When the cargo is small, scattered, and in large quantities, pallets can be used to assist in the transportation of these goods.

When choosing a pallet for a hydraulic transport vehicle, the primary factor we consider is the fork of the transport vehicle. If the width between the fork and the pallet does not match, we need to face the dilemma of whether to replace the transport vehicle or the pallet. Only forks with matching width and specifications can be perfectly inserted into the groove of the pallet. When transporting and loading and unloading goods on the pallet, there will be no pallet falling, damage to the goods, or overturning of the transport vehicle.

If the spacing between the forks can be adjusted, there would be no need to worry about mismatched fork and pallet sizes. However, currently most pallet handling vehicles have fixed fork spacing, and there is a type of handling vehicle where the fork spacing can be adjusted with changes in the lateral driving components, thereby improving its applicability. However, the overall service life and load-bearing performance of the handling vehicle may be reduced.
