Scientific management and efficient operation of electric transport vehicles at freight stations

Scientific operation management is crucial to fully utilize the efficiency of electric handling vehicles in cargo station operations. By reasonable planning and strict management, electric transport vehicles can operate efficiently and safely at the cargo terminal.

The freight station needs to provide systematic training for operators of electric handling vehicles, so that they can proficiently master the operation specifications, safety precautions, and emergency response methods of the vehicles. Clearly define the driving route, speed limit, and loading standards of the handling vehicle to avoid safety accidents or equipment damage caused by improper operation. At the same time, establish a strict vehicle inspection system, and inspect key parts such as the battery level, braking system, and hydraulic system of the vehicle before daily operations to ensure that the vehicle is in good operating condition.

By utilizing an information management system, real-time monitoring of the position, operating status, and task progress of electric handling vehicles can be achieved, and vehicle resources can be reasonably allocated based on the operational needs of the freight station. Develop targeted scheduling plans for different types of goods and work scenarios to achieve efficient utilization of vehicles. For example, for emergency cargo transportation tasks, priority should be given to allocating idle vehicles to ensure timely transfer of goods.

The maintenance and upkeep of electric transport vehicles are also indispensable. Regularly conduct comprehensive maintenance on vehicles, including battery maintenance, motor inspection, component replacement, etc., to extend the service life of vehicles. Establish a detailed vehicle maintenance file, recording the time, content, and replaced parts of each maintenance, providing reference for subsequent maintenance and management.
